Overview of: Higher dimensional discrete dynamical systems

For linear discrete dynamical systems of dimension three or larger, the same principles hold as they did with two-dimensional systems. The long-term growth rate will, for most initial conditions, be determined by the dominant eigenvalue. The relative values of the state variables will, in the long term, approach the relative values of eigenvector of the dominant eigenvalue.
